Starting May 14, 2026, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo will offer a unique photography plan for overnight guests, tailored for special occasions such as proposals, anniversaries, and family portraits. This plan will feature an English-speaking photographer, with the option to include video services. The initiative comes as interest in Tokyo as a romantic travel destination has surged. Since 2025, there has been a noticeable increase in online searches related to proposals in Tokyo, reflecting a global trend towards milestone and celebration travel. The hotel has seen a growing number of inquiries from international guests seeking picturesque settings for proposal photography and memorable stays.
Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo’s garden provides a stunning backdrop that blends seasonal landscapes with historical architecture, such as a three-story pagoda and the “Tokyo Sea of Clouds” mist display. Situated in the heart of Tokyo, the garden is crafted in the style of a traditional Japanese strolling garden, making it an ideal location for capturing significant life events. To enhance the guest experience, hotel staff and photographers are available to coordinate details in advance, including curated photography routes within the gardens.
In addition to photography services, guests can request other arrangements such as flower bouquets, in-room amenities, and dining experiences, all available with prior notice. Tomohiko Chihiro, the General Manager of Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, expressed enthusiasm for welcoming couples to the garden, offering them a chance to enjoy Japanese culture and the hotel’s renowned hospitality. “Our team helps you find the perfect proposal backdrop and capture spectacular photos and videos,” he says.
For those interested in reserving the photography plan, details and bookings can be accessed through the hotel’s website. Early reservations are suggested, particularly during peak seasons like the cherry blossom and fall foliage periods. Beyond the photography plan, the hotel also provides wedding venues for couples considering a location for their ceremony.
